HOW TO GET A TOUR BUS FROM VENICE (08:45 AM departure on each of the two tour days)
If you're lodging in Venice, the tour bus will be waiting for you at the Tronchetto outside the People Mover station.
The Tronchetto is small island at the edge of Venice that provides parking to the numerous cars and private buses that visit the island. It is linked to Piazzale Roma where public (as opposed to private) buses temporarily park. The short link between the two parking points is provided by People Mover, an elevated shuttle train that also stops at Marittima (see map below) to pick up tourists that come in on cruises.
Since you will be staying in Venice, your best way to catch our tour bus is to proceed to the Piazzale Roma (where the public buses are); from there catch the People Mover for about 2 Euros and proceed to the final station at Tronchetto (see above green button on map) where our private tour buses will be waiting for an 8:45 AM departure.
Hence, the People Mover train has three stations only: Tronchetto, Marittima and Piazzale Roma. Our tour buses will be parked at the Tronchetto.
